Its been a long time since i blog. Now im sitting in office waiting for cai to fetch me to dover for dinner and then to meet the MP. I dont kn wat will the MP response to us but i really wan to hear his opinion on our appeal. I admit im not one who can articulate very well but i know wat are the issues i want to convey to him.
Was in banking training for this week.Options, forwards, swaps ...oh come on...i know nuts about it and im starting to feel stress when im know my status is 'Bank trained' but i dont have enough exposure to get me well equipped for it. I think i still prefer manufacturing industry where i can physically touch the inventory,analyse the profit trends and expenses just based on common sense. The terminology used by banks are really confusing. But i believe i will appreciate it better when i got more exposure to it.
Today met up with Yuhui during my break.She is really nice, not jus beco she passed me a gift tat she bought from Korea but the most appreciative thing is she put that gift in a nice pouch.Oh ..im so touched. I told her tat if i were her, i wld jus pass the gift directly to my friend and dont bother to put it in a pouch. haha....me beri 'bo sim' hor... wat to do...i also dont know.
We also have discussed tat we may go to JAPAN in this coming OCT... beco i got 2 weeks of leave in OCT. Well, we will wait for NATAS fair and see how it goes.But first of all,i need to get clearance from my 'All affairs minister'...Mr Wang to see if he allows me to go or not. Actually i got a feeling tat he wouldnt allow me to go. If this is ON, this will be the 2nd time me and YUHUI goes for trips after our 21 days touring Western Europe. She is someone who loves to plan for trips and im someone who can obey...so we makes a good pair for travelling. (^ u* )
These days i got a very weird trend of thought. Everytime, i go shopping ...it seems like i have more disposable income after the increment. So tis afternoon,we got 2.5hrs of lunchbreak, me,ereen and yihui took MRT to Orchard for lunch and shopping.Me bought a MANGO blouse for S$29...only 30% off its usual list price. I should save up and not anyhow spend $$$.
Yesterday, dad told me tat he saw a baby owl at the tree near the carpark. Its eyes were big and starring at dad. So i ask dad...y u didnt bring it back home to feed it..maybe its hungry or injured? At the back of my mind, i feel tat we shd help these feathered friends esp when they are injured or cant find their way home. My intention was not to breed them but to help them to recover so that they can proceed on to their intended destination. So dad questioned me back,"So there are so many pple straving and helpless....how r u goin to help them?" My instant answer "I will help when i can." So this brings back to the issue on "What will u do when u see beggar along the streets or handicapped selling tissues/sweets for a living along the street?' I sincerely pray hard tat a social worker will see them and gave them a helping hand. Personally, i feel tat its not tat effective to donate $ or purchase items from them as these will not last them forever. I hope to know some social workers so tat next time when i see any unfortunate pple, im able to give my helping hand.
